Please be on time and at the correct location on your Pass.. If you're late, or at the wrong location, restaurants will get backed up.. No one likes that.

There's always s a possibility a restaurant will run out of samples early.. That doesn't mean they don't love you or that we didn't tell them you were coming... That's why we advertise 20 participating location. This year we have 30, well prepared, restaurants participating.

VIP Pass holders... Your VIP Pass allows you to enjoy Bacon Fest 2017 1 hour early.. It's not a key to the city.. Please Be at the correct location on your Pass @ 12:30pm.. After 1:30pm Everyone has the same Pass.. We recommend checking out every location and then going back to the locations you liked best.. There's a lot going on, so to make the most of your VIP Pass, keep moving during the 1^st hour.

General Admission Pass holders.. Please be on time 1:30pm and at the location on your Pass. When you arrive at your start location, there will be VIP Pass holders ahead of you. Relax.. find a spot in line and grab a beverage.. After 1:30 all the Passes are the same.. However, some of the VIP Pass holders move faster than others... So. let's be BACON and all get along.. .

We're expecting 450 Bacon Fans this year. @ 12;30pm Small Groups will be in every location. After they enjoy a 1 ounce sample of your amazing bacon creation & check out your beverage selection, they move to the next location on their Map / Pass. No Pass.. No Bacon.. *VIP Passes Are Blue & They Start @ 12:30pm.. *General Admission Passes are White & They Start 1:30pm..

Bacon fans are arriving Friday. They will all have a list of participating restaurants. We'll strongly recommend supporting all of you.We hope you see them all weekend. If you have any info you would like us to hand out, we can pick it up from you tomorrow 11:00am - 3:30pm.

***Update*** 100 VIP Passes Go On Sale 9/15/16. This year VIP Pass Holders will move to the front of the line, receive the official Bacon Fest T if purchased AND have 1 Hour Early start time. To make this happen we are going to have a bacon barrier at each location. Unlike the first three years, we will not offer half-price passes when the first 100 are gone. VIP passes will increase $5. each month until April 1, 2017. Discount General Admission Passes Will Only be available Black Friday - Cyber Monday.

We are now within one week of bacon fest. We suggest following our Facebook page for the latest information. Although the following content is correct, some of the details have changed.
The 2017 Dewey Beach Bacon Fest will be held 4/22/17 VIP Pass 1^st Wave starting at 12:30pm ending approximately 5:00pm. Rehoboth Beach Bacon Fest 4/23/17 VIP Pass 1^st Wave starting at 12:30am ending approximately 4:00pm. (2) Day tour of participating businesses, enjoying amazing bacon inspired samples.

General Admission Registration 4/22/17 @ the iDewey Store from 9:00am-12:30pm. **Discount Passes go on sale Black Friday - Cyber Monday**

VIP Pass & General Admission Participants will receive their welcome package during registration.

Competitors:

There will be prizes for 1^st Best Bacon On The Beach, 1^st Dewey Beach Bacon Fest and 1^st Rehoboth Beach Bacon Fest. Restaurants, Caterers or Bacon Artisans are all welcome.

All competitors must have their Best Bacon On The Beach sample ready by 12:00pm 4/22/17 11:30am 4/23/17. Caterers and Bacon Artisans will have space available inside participating restaurants.

***We ask all competitors to have a minimum of 750 (1) ounce samples. If you are interested in competing we can send you an application, which illustrates all the rules and regulations. Space is limited. Presentation is important, however Taste will win. Be creative my friends.

Attendants:

We recommend registering early 4/22/17 to make sure you are ready at your start time. *The price difference between VIP and General Admission is $20.00. If you are going to buy the Bacon Fest Jersey buy the VIP Pass.. You'll save some cash and time.

Breweries:

Bacon and Brew go well together. Show off your finest brew or bacon inspired creations. Applications are available from the iDewey Store. Space will be provided to you inside participating bar / restaurants.

Retail / Vendors:

Vendors will have space available inside participating locations and in the iDewey Store. Space is limited, Contact us ASAP.

Q & A

Does my ticket include food and beverage samples?

Bacon Fest Samples are all included. Not every location has a beverage sample. We want you to be double fisted throughout the entire day. Bacon in one hand. Beer in the other. It's hard to maintain a level of double fistedness (we made that word up) when you have to reach for your wallet all day. Yeah, we know what you're thinking. "They thought of everything!" Yes. Yes we did.

Will there be a vegetarian option?

No. No. No. This is a day to celebrate bacon, which is made out of pork. By the way, we suggest not going outside today because the bacon gods (there's a group of them) are going to strike you down for just thinking about a vegetarian option.

Is Bacon Fest kid friendly?

Absolutely. We are going to have events just for the Bacon Bits. Check out our family Bonfire Saturday evening. Just keep in mind strollers get in the way and crying babies can interrupt that special moment you will be having with every bite of bacon inspired goodness.

How can I serve my bacon masterpiece at the Bacon Fest?

All local restaurateurs and caterers are welcome to participate in Bacon Fest. Contact iDewey to receive a registration form and send it to us ASAP. Spots are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Where should I stay during Bacon Fest and are there any deals on lodging?

Yes! Thanks to our friends at Hyatt Place Dewey Beach & The Bellmoor Inn. Choose between Rehoboth or Dewey beach, just 1 mile from each other. Both location are walking distance to many attractions to include the Atlantic Ocean in the Nations Summer Capital!
